These are hand crafted to last a lifetime. Each unique copper mug comes in the most beautiful gift box lined with a satin-like material and tied with a burgundy colored, real cloth ribbon. The mug itself was wrapped in tissue paper. It comes with 5 Moscow Mule recipe cards, original and 4 tasty variations.
Each recipe card has the ingredients and instructions on one side and a picture of the drink on the other side. All 5 recipe cards (and one card with product care instructions on one side, and cleaning instructions on the other side) are all conveniently held together by a piece of twine, adding to the quaintness of the packaging.
The mug itself is a functioning piece of fine art. Each indentation lovingly made by hand operated tools. I imagine someone with a small metal working tool and hammer, gently creating each round indent in the side of the barrel shaped copper mug. It is super shiny, as you can see in the photos (hover over pic to see an enlarged version), I can clearly see my own reflection in the bottom (inside) and a not so smooth view of myself on the sides.
The handle is securely welded in place on the side of the copper mug. The rim is rolled down, leaving a smooth drinking edge that feels comfortable against my lips. I will definitely be recommending this mug to all my family and friends. There is just something about a quality made copper mug that makes everything taste better in it's own special way. This mug is very durable, and if taken proper care of, will retain it's beauty for many years to come.
